Shipping Schedule

Orders are shipped within 5 business days of order confirmation.
For made-to-order items, please refer to the production time listed on each product page.

Domestic Shipping (Japan)

Flat rate ¥660 (tax included) within Japan.
*Additional fees may apply for Okinawa and remote islands.

Delivery Date & Time

You can specify a preferred delivery date and time slot at checkout.

Morning / 14:00–16:00 / 16:00–18:00 / 18:00–20:00 / 19:00–21:00

*We may not be able to accommodate your preference due to weather or traffic conditions.

Tracking

A tracking number will be emailed to you once your order ships.

Packaging

THE URUSHI products are placed in custom-designed gift boxes and protected with cushioning material—ready to be presented as a gift.

Damage in Transit

In the unlikely event of damage during transit, please contact us within 7 days of delivery. We will arrange a replacement at our cost.

If You Are Not Home

Please follow the carrier's redelivery notice to schedule another delivery. If the storage period passes without delivery, the package may be returned. Re-shipping costs will be at the customer's expense.

International Shipping

International orders are shipped via EMS (Express Mail Service by Japan Post).
Shipping fees are calculated automatically at checkout based on the destination region.
Estimated delivery time: Asia 3–5 days / Europe & North America 5–10 days / Other regions 7–14 days.

Import Duties, Taxes (VAT/GST), and Customs Fees

For international orders, all import duties, value-added taxes (VAT/GST), and customs handling fees imposed by the destination country are the sole responsibility of the recipient.
These charges are not included in the product price or shipping cost. They are typically collected by the carrier upon delivery.
Tax rates and policies vary by country—please review your destination country's customs regulations before ordering. Return shipping costs caused by recipient refusal will be at the customer's expense.

Free Shipping

Free shipping is automatically applied to all orders ¥30,000 or more (product subtotal), worldwide.
*For international orders, import duties, VAT/GST, and customs fees remain the responsibility of the recipient.
